Anise Planting Instructions:
Place 2 or 3 seeds spaced evenly on top of moistened potting mix in 4 to 6" wide pots. Cover the seeds with 1/4" to 1/2" of potting mix. Next, set a plastic water bottle with the bottom cut out over the seeds. Leave the cap on the bottle until after the seeds germinate. It will take 1 to 2 months for the seeds to germinate. Once they do, remove the bottles a week later. Anise plants can grow in these containers for one year. Set them outdoors during the daytime in the summer. Water generously. Anise plants do best in full sun or shade. After 1 year, replant the tree into a larger pot.

Dry Anise pods well on mesh screens to prevent mold.
