I don't think the product is actually bad, but it did cause bloating and gas for me.Turns out this is probably due to my sulfur intolerance, as milk thistle contains sulfur.Sulfur is found in eggs, onions, garlic , cruciferous vegetables (such as broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, kale, Brussels sprouts) etc etc. If you have any gastrointestinal reactions(possibly skin break outs as well) when taking these foods then you are probably sulfur intolerant (could be due to Hydrogen Sulphide SIBO and/or LIBO, leaky gut or metal toxicity). Do your research to find the cause of your intolerance and avoid milk thistle as well. This stuff works. Calms an upset stomach and stops you feeling sick. I know people swear by it as a hangover cure, but I am using it to counter side effect of medication I have to take, and it does stop me feeling nauseousThis little bottle is a must for any all-inclusive holiday I overindulged as you do on these holidays. It doesn't stop a hangover but takes away that sickly feeling which makes a big difference when you can eat the fried breakfast in the morning and keep it down definitely recommend this product.I could tell I had been drinking too much and that my liver was telling me so. I feel much better now I have started taking these. I take one every morning after a night of drinking. Sometimes they have made me feel a little sick, but that soon passes. Not often! I will be buying these again for sure.Really helps if you have digestive problems
