Plant these cool-season peas early in the spring for the best results. They appreciate full sun and well-drained, fertile soil.
Plant the seeds 1 inch deep and 2 inches apart and ensure the soil remains moist, but not waterlogged. These peas will be ready to meet your dinner plate in about 70 days.

Once the pods are round and full—usually around?2 months after planting—it's time to harvest. Regular picking encourages more pod production, so keep the cycle going every week during the harvest season.
