Heirloom Dwarf Siberian Kale Planting Instructions:

• Sowing?–?Plant your seeds approximately?3 months before your area's expected last fall frost.
• Depth? – Bury your seeds about 1/2 to 1 inch into the soil.
• Spacing? – Keep a distance of 3?feet between each seed and set your rows 18 to 20?inches apart.
• Lighting? – Ideally, your kale wants full sunlight; but it can handle a bit of shade, too.
• Rotation? – Avoid planting it (or other cole plants) in the same spot more frequently than every 3?to 4 years.
• Patience? – You should see a fully grown kale plant in around 70 days.

• Timing – Wait until just after the first frost to start your harvest.
• Picking Leaves? – Look for bright green, fresh leaves; these are perfect for cooking or salads.

• Growth – To encourage continual growth, avoid picking the center leaves.
• Resilience? – Your kale will keep thriving until temperatures fall below 20°F.
